About Johannes Agency – Serving Minnesota Since 1992
Founded in 1992, Johannes Agency started out writing farm coverage and has grown into a full-service operation for individuals, families, farms, and businesses across Minnesota and beyond. That work runs out of two offices:
insurance in Willmar and Kandiyohi County, and
insurance in Olivia and Renville County, where our farm roots run deepest. Strong carrier partnerships let us build coverage around the account in front of us instead of around one company's rate.
Meet Our Team Behind Your Coverage
Paul Johannes – Founder & Agent
Paul grew up in Watkins, MN, the son of Florence and Al, and attended Eden Valley-Watkins High School and studied Criminal Justice at St. Cloud State University. He has served on the National Development Council as a Finance Professional, served on Developmental Boards around MN, and has been an active part of Minnesota Farmers Union since 1991. When he’s not at the office, Paul enjoys traveling with his wife, Seda; cheering for the Vikings at the new US Bank Stadium, taking his Springer Spaniels pheasant hunting and competing in AKC Field Trials. Paul is especially proud to have guided the Governor of Minnesota at the Pheasant Opener with his dogs. Paul is also now a proud Grandpa four times over!
